ACTION: 947 Beulah St - Morning (Housemate, anyone passing by who wants to check out the commotion)

[It hadn't exactly been a year since his last birthday, but today was June 22nd. He wasn't planning on making his birthday a big deal, but apparently the town had other plans - like having him wake up in yet another strange house. This time, though, there was a woman in his bed. Next to him. One that he had children with, if the photos in the room were to be believed. Some might call having a completely subservient woman in your bed a godsend - Yosuke was nearly as freaked out as his first day in the town. Not even bothering to change out of his pajamas, he scrambled from the bed and out of the room.

Which brings us to the current time - a confused Yosuke, sitting on the curb in front of his brand new house, trying to get a hold on his brand new adult life.

Happy 18th Birthday, Yosuke. Welcome to adulthood.]

Okay, calm down. That zombie... 'wife' probably didn't do anything to me. Probably.

[He groans]

What a way to start a birthday.

So... this hasn't exactly been a normal day, but I guess there's not much I can do about it.

Anyone know a good place for a party? Might as well try and make today not suck somehow.

[who the hell is running in the house? It's too early to be the little drone boy, and the others just don't. Emerging from her bedroom in her own PJs, Rin sees the front door slam and immediately follows.

By the way, if Yosuke was wondering why there's a steamroller parked on the curb, he's about to meet the reason, calling from the house]

[ Wait, a steamroller? And a familiar voice? Confused, he looks back at the house. Right, that girl - he'd seen her in the pictures. And he knows that voice, from his first day here. Rin? He's pretty sure it was Rin.

... great. Somehow this is more awkward than if he didn't know any of his new fake family.]

Rin, right? Sorry, I, uh... wasn't expecting to wake up here and find my picture plastered all over the place. I sure as hell didn't live here yesterday. You know what's going on?

[roadroller]

Eh? Yeah... ♪

[she confirmed her name, taking in what he said. Now that he's talking, she can recognize the voice.]

I recognize your voice. But ... you're in my pictures, even though you lived somewhere else in Mayfield? That doesn't make much sense!

[a pause.]

Wait, actually... they moved Luke out of my house the other day. So it's not like they don't ever move people. Are we housemates now? Maybe you're my new brother. ♪

[Moving people around, huh? He takes a moment to think about it. It is his birthday... maybe since he turned eighteen? It sort of makes sense, except for the part where he misses most of his senior year. But why else would he wake up with a zombie wife? That must be it then.

But looking at Rin, he's not feeling confident. He's supposed to be a dad, and he's barely older than his 'daughter'? What a joke.]

Yeah, I guess that sounds right. I'm your new not really big brother.

[It's better than thinking of himself as a dad, anyway.]

Maybe I should just go out, buy some drinks, let the zombie cook and throw one here. Or is eating drone cooking like drinking the milk?

There's the diner, the cosplay cafe, the rolling rink, and the rec center.

Hmm. I've never been to the rink or the rec center. The cafe I know, though.

[He sighs and chuckles]

Thanks, man. I know the birthday wish for a lot of guys is to wake up in bed with a woman, but I wasn't really hoping for this.
