Track 05: Small Town

ACTION: EVERYWHERE - ALL DAY - EVERYONE

[As Yosuke's settled himself into Mayfield, he finds one question gnawing at the back of his head.

Is this place really that bad?

Sure, there's the dronings and the weird things that happen, but day to day everybody's able to go about their lives - maybe even find things to do that make them happy. They bring bits and pieces from home and make connections with other people. They can even meet people they never would have at home. Does the good the people make in this town outweigh the bad the town tries to bring them down with?

He's curious. Also, it's a great excuse to take a day off and wander around the town, so that's exactly what he does - he sets out and walks, with no destination in mind]

Oh no, I wouldn't want America to make a big deal over it. Just try and keep it quiet.

I guess that would be something. I mean, all I got for my birthday was a new fake family. I never even threw that party. What a waste.

"You can come to my party on the 8th, there will at least be cake."

So what do you want for your birthday? Birthday girls get presents, after all.

"Honestly just for my friends to be there. Anything beyond that... Surprise me."

[He gives an exaggerated sigh]

Alright then, I guess I just need to get creative.

Right, I forgot. Perfectly normal. Nothing special at all.

Nothing, I guess.

It's just - you wouldn't be you without all the abnormal stuff. And I like who you are.
