ACTION: The Record Store - Morning/Afternoon - Open

[All things considered, Yosuke is enjoying his new job at the record store, familiarizing himself with the music and keeping the records spinning. If you're in the market for some music, come on in and shop!]

ACTION: John Doe Park - Evening - Open

[Yosuke is sitting on a park bench, headphones on as he looks at the ground, despondant. He'd been wondering why he hadn't heard from Chie lately and wanted to make sure she was going to his (late) Birthday Party, so he'd gone after work in search of her.

He hadn't been prepared to see his friend all dressed up and flirting with the drone boys. No training, no kung fu, no arguing - done through and through.

He's not sure how to cope with that. He doesn't even know how long she's been this way. So he's simply sitting there, drowning his sorrows in the music and trying to cope with everything.]

But-- no one can take memories. Memories stay with you always because they're in you. [ She taps on the side of his head, lightly. ] In here, see?

Yeah... that's where they're supposed to stay. But I've died in this town and woke up just fine. That's not supposed to happen either, right? So I think that this place might be able to steal memories too.

[ Okay now, Yosuke, dying? That's just siiilly to the extreme! Millie goes blank face for a moment, tilts her head, but then... she gets it! not literal dying!! ]

You can't die and come back. That doesn't happen, hee hee. Even Millie knows that.

So he looks her in the eye and takes her hand without even knowing what he's doing]

Millie, I'm being completely serious. Somebody shot me. I died. And then I woke up in my bed. Not in a hospital or ina casket - in my bed. Without a bullet in me. Alive.

...okay, I won't talk to the postman. <small>[ Of course, she doesn't look happy about it. ]</small> I better tell my friend not to, either. She wanted to write letters to him.

[Well at least she won't do it, but now he went and made her all sad. That won't do either]

That doesn't mean you won't get him back though! Sometimes people just... get stuff back. I got these [he gestures to the player and headphones] back the other day and didn't lose anything.

[ Oh, that reminds her of a regain she got, too.. ]

That happened to me, too. I got my hat in the mail once. [ She touches her head. ] But none of the clothes here really match it.

[ But back to other stuff- ] So, I could just get Bonaparte back one day?

I don't see why you wouldn't - I'm actually pretty sure you will.

Remember to show him off when you do, okay?

I do! There's Viki with me - she sometimes sneezes and ends up teleporting, so you have to be careful. She's really fun.
