Track 2: Well, this is awkward.

ACTION: THAT CAFE WHERE RURI WORKS

[Ever since waking up in his bed safe and sound, Yosuke has been more than confused. How can death really not matter? What can they do, when the town can turn people against each other so easily? Did he really take a bullet for Chie?

Wracked by confusion and uncertainty, Yosuke isn't sure where to turn. Souji is the obvious choice, but with Chie involved... he needs a little time before he seeks out his partner. Ultimately, he decides that the best course of action is to try and take his mind off of things for a while.

So, making good on his promise, he wanders the city until he finds what he thinks is the cafe Ruri told him about and walks in the door.]

Lets see, I think this is the place...

Seriously, there's no one to have a name. If I had a girlfriend, I'd be the first one to brag about it.

[Ruri peers at him, smiling slightly]

[He gives a small sigh.]

Didn't we already talk about this? Her name is Chie, and she's not my girlfriend. Then I called you cute, and somehow we got back to here.

"Well, you can't expect a girl to spend all her time on the defensive. If you'd like I can probably arrange a private table for you two some time."

Are you kidding? She'd probably call me a creep for coming to a cafe like this. She'd say I was just staring at the girls the whole time.

"There are a few male employees that wear butler outfits sometimes. Actually they wear maid ones too. They're kind of odd people."

"I actually don't have their schedules. I'm the junior here. But its fairly obvious."

Right, I'll keep my eyes open for crossdressing guys. Anything else I should know?

"About this place? Not that I can think of. I think we graduate to swimsuits in July."

[She ponders]

July, huh? Maybe I'll make it a late birthday present to myself.

"When is your birthday?"

June twenty second. I guess it's coming up here - I almost forgot about it.

[She shrugs]

"Mine is the 7th. I figured it'd just pass like always. Time is kind of odd here, but, I'll remember to buy you a soda on the 22nd."

Sounds good to me. I'll try and make sure I have the money to do the same for you.

Hey, no need to thank me. It's the least I can do after all you've done for me.

[She gets a nice big grin.]

Can't have people saying I'm a jerk. Well, more than they already do.

"Perhaps if you acted like this to everyone they wouldn't say that."

[She nods a little]

"Its almost charming."

Charming? Now there's a first.

As crazy as this sounds, at least this place has more to do than where I came from. I don't get bored, so I stay out of trouble more I think.

Or maybe I'm still just getting settled in. Hard to say.

"That's terrifying to think of actually. This place has almost nothing to do. Generally its up to the residents to find something to pass the time. Luckily some of them are fairly creative."

Yeah, I'll probably agree once the "new town I've been abducted to" smell wears off.
