Track 2: Well, this is awkward.

ACTION: THAT CAFE WHERE RURI WORKS

[Ever since waking up in his bed safe and sound, Yosuke has been more than confused. How can death really not matter? What can they do, when the town can turn people against each other so easily? Did he really take a bullet for Chie?

Wracked by confusion and uncertainty, Yosuke isn't sure where to turn. Souji is the obvious choice, but with Chie involved... he needs a little time before he seeks out his partner. Ultimately, he decides that the best course of action is to try and take his mind off of things for a while.

So, making good on his promise, he wanders the city until he finds what he thinks is the cafe Ruri told him about and walks in the door.]

[Yosuke is feeling quite proud of himself - if he didn't know any better, he'd say he was acting like Souji.]

So, you don't really strike me as the type who'd be into games. How did that happen?

"I'm mentally connected to a computer that gets bored easily, and its something to do while at my station."

[He takes a few sips of his tea, grinning.]

Yeah, I guess it would get boring just being a computer all day long.

"No, not really. Most of my days were that after leaving the institute."

So what kind of stuff do you like to play? Shooters? Fighters? Sports games?

"Mostly fighters, RPG's and visual novels. Though I'm not bad at bullet hell. I don't quite get sports games, most people can go to a holo simulator and just play the sport."

Wow, you're the definition of a gamer's dream.

"I'm not sure I understand what you mean there but when your job is to keep a computer entertained you learn to like varied things."

[He chuckles a little, than sighs and takes a sip of his tea.]

Man, I wish there were girls like you back home. It'd be a different place, that's for sure.

"I'm sure there are, you probably just aren't looking in the right places. Have you considered trolling the top secret government think tanks for dates?"

... well, not until right this second. I guess I'll get on that when I get back.

"Or you know, maybe video arcades I guess. I liked going to those when I could."

[He laughs a little, kicking back in his chair.]

If only. The town I live in now is so small that we barely have a department store, let alone a video arcade.

"Well, you are close to a city, right? I mean Japan isn't terribly big and your name is Japanese."

Yeah, I guess, but I don't get a lot of time to really get away. Between school and work, I'm surprised I get much time to myself at all.

Nope, I wish. There's only a handful that I've seen around school - the teachers get them, and I think there might be one in the A/V room.
