Hey guys, it's Yosuke. I just thought I'd check in, see how everyone's doing. I know it's been sort of rough lately, so...

[PARK - EVENING - OPEN]

[He's been coming here a lot lately. It really isn't a bad place to spend time. The park is usually nice and peaceful, and it gives him plenty of time to think. To reflect on his time there, to figure out what he wants, to try and piece together what bits he's learned about the town. Really, he can think about whatever strikes him that particular day.

Today it seems the focus is on himself - him, and the choices he's made recently and not so recently. Decisions he's made, decisions he hasn't made. Time he's spent waiting. Other people he's heard about. Is he really doing what's best? If he has to be stuck in this town, doesn't he deserve to be as happy as he can be? Is he doing what he can to that end? Is the road he's on the right one - hell, is it even going anywhere?

Too bad there are no easy answers.]

Millie feels good, too! [ She giggles after saying that. ] But I haven't been doing lots either. Since people were funny for a while, Millie didn't know if it was safe to go out or not. But everyone's happy again now, so now I'm going to have fun!

Yeah? Sounds like a pretty good plan, Millie.

[ Any specific? She tilts her head down and to the side, puts a finger to her lip as she 'hmmmmm's...

Then she moves the hand down, beginning to tick off her fingers. ] Talk to all my frieends, go around town, meet new friends, talk on the phone box... like that!

[Aaaaah too cute! Yosuke's glad people like you still exist, Millie. Never change.]

Sounds like you've got a full night ahead of you! I don't want to keep you busy too long, if you've got someone to meet. I'm actually meeting someone in a little while, too.

[ !!Someone to meet!! That brightens her face even more, somehow. ] Yosuke's going to meet someone? Who?

[For just a split second, he wonders if he shouldn't have said anything - but what the heck, it's already out there.]

Oh, I'm just going to see Ruri after she gets out of work.

Ruri? Ruri Ruri? With really light hair and a really soft voice?

Well, if there's another Ruri, I haven't met her yet. Yes, that Ruri.

What are you two going to do? Me and Ruri are friends, too. Best friends. She talked to me when I came to Mayfield on the phone.

I'm... not sure what we're going to do.

[ Millie nods twice. ] Ruri says a lot of stuff I don't really understand either.

Oh, I usually understand what she says. Most of the time.

I'm... just not really sure what we'll talk about tonight.

[ Can you hear her breathe in? Because it's really obvious, as obvious as seeing her jump and clap her hands. ]

[ now have a hug, Yosuke. ] Congratulaaations!

[He probably should have seen that coming. Oh well. He smiles and hugs her back lightly, not that he has a choice in the matter]

Hey, not yet! She could still shoot me down, you know.

[ She backs away a little -- well, jsut her head. She's still hugging him. ]

I don't think so! You're a nice guy - and you're cute, too! Ruri will definitely say yes if you're really really good friends.

[He might be embarrassed, but he can still tease!]

You really think so? With a review like that, I might have a shot.

And if she shoots me down, it sounds like you might be interested.

[ She'll be moving out of the hug entirely now. ] Millie's got a plan, so don't worry. Yosuke has a date now, riiiight?
