Hey guys, it's Yosuke. I just thought I'd check in, see how everyone's doing. I know it's been sort of rough lately, so...

[PARK - EVENING - OPEN]

[He's been coming here a lot lately. It really isn't a bad place to spend time. The park is usually nice and peaceful, and it gives him plenty of time to think. To reflect on his time there, to figure out what he wants, to try and piece together what bits he's learned about the town. Really, he can think about whatever strikes him that particular day.

Today it seems the focus is on himself - him, and the choices he's made recently and not so recently. Decisions he's made, decisions he hasn't made. Time he's spent waiting. Other people he's heard about. Is he really doing what's best? If he has to be stuck in this town, doesn't he deserve to be as happy as he can be? Is he doing what he can to that end? Is the road he's on the right one - hell, is it even going anywhere?

Too bad there are no easy answers.]

So... I think I might swing by sometime. You know, just check things out. Catch up, have some tea, ogle a waitress. The usual.

So what was that about people in bathrooms?

"They didn't want to tell their secrets and there is water and a toilet in the bathroom, so I suspect its a good place to lock yourself."

... he locked himself up for a week with ten bags of Funyuns.

"Something like that. I didn't say it wasn't stupid, and honestly, most of the time I was at Miss Saber's house. Not having a bathroom is a major inconvenience."

Yeah, no kidding. It was nice of her to let you crash there, though. You could have stayed at my place if you wanted - hell, maybe you did. I spent so much time at work I wouldn't have noticed.

"Actually, Rin did have me over for a night. I was wondering if you were going to yell at us for being loud, but she said you weren't in."

Do I even want to know what you two troublemakers were up to? And don't say a pillow fight.

You know, hearing that it was boring is actually kind of a letdown. I figured between you and Rin, you'd come up with something crazy.

"We were singing. Like I said, not terribly interesting."

Yeah? I forgot, you're pretty good with your voice. I never really connected the dots to singing.

You'll have to give me a demonstration sometime.

Jeez, you just keep making the deal better and better. First a bikini, now a bikini and a show? I was going to go out in a little bit - are you working tonight? Or should I stop by tomorrow before I run my errands?

"I'm at work tonight and tomorrow. There really isn't a whole lot else to do."

"Do you want your usual table?"

You mean the one where I bug the waitress to sit with me and keep me company? Yeah, sounds good!

[And wow he forgot how good that suit looked on Ruri, but he's sure as hell remembering now. And he's trying not to stare but it's just so hard.]

"That would be the one."

[She nods and leads him to the table towards the back]

[He takes a seat and has to continuously remind himself to be looking at the menu. She looks great and she always seems fairly happy to see him, and Yosuke has to admit that makes him feel a little warm and fuzzy inside.]

[And this is the girl he's not sure about? Is he insane?!]

I think I might actually get something to eat today - or do you have to cook it? Because I'd rather have you out here than back in the kitchen.

"No. I'm not the cook. I'm learning a little, but I'm not much of a chef."

Alright then, I'll take a sandwich and that tea. And the cute waitress to keep me company, but I think I already said that.

[He grins sheepishly, knowing he can't hide his blush or the fact that he's alternating between staring at her and trying so hard not to.]

So what's after swimsuit week? Some other theme?
